About the role

As a Partnerships Specialist at Zeller, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and managing a range of partnerships that help us acquire new merchants, and strengthen Zeller’s overall value proposition to potential and future customers.

The Zeller Partner ecosystem is made up of a wide variety of valued aggregators, resellers and integrators. You’ll be responsible for finding and establishing commercial, value-driven partnerships with new partners, and then managing the full go-to-market lifecycle to bring the partnership to life. This will be supported by cross-functional collaboration with partners and your internal colleagues working across Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Product, to ensure your partner go-to-market strategy is effective and impactful.

This is an exciting pportunity for a hard-working, dedicated, and up-and-coming partnerships specialist to take on a new role to grow Zeller’s partner ecosystem. You’ll require a high level of attention to detail, be incredibly organised and effective in managing a wide range of programs from start to finish, have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for driving growth for Zeller. This position reports to Zeller’s Partnership Lead, and is based in our Melbourne headquarters.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and establish partnerships with new partners within the reseller, aggregator, and tech integrator segments.
  • Collaborate with Zeller and partner GTM teams to develop holistic partner launch and ongoing campaigns that deliver customer acquisition and revenue growth for Zeller.
  • Own day-to-day relationships with your partner network, including onboarding, training, coaching, reporting, opportunity identification, and regular check-ins.
  • Execute partnerships end-to-end, from business development to partner launch and ongoing management.
  • Be accountable to quarterly KPI’s and partner objectives.
  • Become an expert on Zeller’s products, market landscape, and merchant needs.
  • Determine and prioritise the appropriate mix of partner benefits, incentives, co-marketing and sales opportunities necessary to secure amazing partner deals.
  • Be comfortable operating independently, while also taking direction from your lead or other business stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional partner GTM initiatives, providing support and direction to internal and external teams.
  • Advocate for your partners while balancing Zeller’s goals.

Job requirements

Qualifications and experience

  • At least 2 years of post-university, professional experience in the technology sector,  working within a channel partnerships, sales / business development, or growth role.
  • Proven ability to negotiate, sign, launch, and manage tactical and mid-sized partnerships with moderate complexity.
  • Experience working within the point-of-sale, fintech, or payments or SaaS sector.
  • A strong understanding of partnership dynamics, sales processes, and channel ecosystems.
  • Experience growing and distributing new products with partners via compelling economic incentives and close collaboration with internal and external sales and marketing teams
  • A motivated, entrepreneurial, and proactive mindset.
  • Comfort working independently in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment, with the ability to thrive with minimal guidance.
  • Proven track record of working cross-functionally with various teams, managing initiatives at scale, and delivering results
  • Experience building and managing relationships with internal and external business stakeholders.
